Diana, the owner is arrogant and "full of herself".
You leave there with the haircut she wants for you and not at all what you asked for, all the while being overwhelmed by her constant chatter about herself.
An appointment at this salon is not about "you" the client but for her to talk about herself. I have received better haircuts at Walmart, and been treated with more respect. Prices are too high, service is inferior.

I paid over $150 to get my hair highlighted, which is normal however I did not get the results I asked for. I walked in with blonde highlights asking to go more blonde and somehow ended up darker. The worst part is they try to charge you another $20 to dry you hair. How can they charge you more money to see the result of what you are already paying a small fortune for?!?!?! I thought it was ridiculous. I left completely unhappy esp. bc the stylist said I got the color I had asked for but when I want to be more blonde and I leave darker I wouldnt say thats the results I asked for! Will not go back.

I have been trying to find a salon in the Birmingham area for almost two years now. I have been to three other salons before Diana's and have actually been driving back home to Huntsville every few months to get my hair cut from my former stylist. I decided to search one more time and I am glad I did. I had Brian cut my hair and he was absolutely wonderful! He definitely knows what he is doing and is good at explaining and answering questions. Words just can't describe my experience with everyone at Diana's.
