Bad Customer Service/Bad Business in Birmingham Went to the David's Bridal and decided to get the bridesmaids dresses there since I had a party of 15 and the rep stated that she would give each bridesmaid $20 off each dress. I didn't find out until after the 3rd person had paid that they would not honor the $20 off since I didn't get my wedding dress there (Had I known this fact, I would have given my business to another Bridal Shop) Also I went through the painstaking event of listing EACH BM and the style # of the dresses. When the BMs came in to be fitted/order, they were not met with good customer service at all. The rep told one of my BM to just look through the line of dresses and pick one. While another one told a BM that she was just going to put her in a dress. Just today, (Feb 4, 07) I was there when another was to be fitted and she was told that they didn't know the style number and didn't have a picture of the dresses, upon me reminding the rep that she did, she pulled out the catalog. The assistant manager was no help as well. After learning about my ordeal, she said she could not do anything about the $20 off - even though some BMs did get the discount.
They can be as unhelpful as they want to be because they know they have you since you can't get a refund (eventhough the dresses have not been ordered yet) This store just lied to make a sale and took full advantage of me and the wedding party. - by the way, good luck on finding a $99 dress. The commercial advertise all the time, but I have yet to find one. Contrary to the commercial, I was told that it was by appointment.
