We were very concerned about how he would in real school. They speak to you, not down to you! The really like being around the kids and care for them. They continue to improve and add programs. The principal is very level headed and she is very approachable. My twins attend Grantswood now and their father, aunt, uncle and older sister also went there. Coming from California, we had concerns about the public education system in this new State. Our daughter has learning delays, sensory integration disorders and high end autism, all of which demand a great deal of effort. Grantswood special education program has already made an impact in our daughter's skill levels within the first two weeks. She is receiving speech and occupational therapies weekly as part of the curriculum. The administration couldn't be more cooperative or helpful. The limited grade levels make the school a welcoming and safe atmosphere for the young children. We feel as if this school is a 'best kept secret,' and that it could go toe to toe with any private or wealthy public school.
